About us

Loving God

Developing authentic relationships with one another

Impacting our communities with God's love and power

WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH ARE WE?

Although we have never joined a particular denomination, we have always sought out and been blessed by Godly external input. Our present leadership team have been influenced by the Anglican Church HTB and the Vineyard. They are mentored by Pete Gilbert, an evangelist and church planter who also runs a discipleship course called DNA.  Pete is a regular visitor to the Church and has given us invaluable help over recent years.  We are also a member of the Evangelical Alliance.  Whilst we may be an 'independent' church, we very much see ourselves as a part of the wider Church of Jesus.

OUR VISION AND VALUES

Whilst locations and styles of worship may have changed over the years, the passion and heart of the church remain the same.  We want the culture at 3 Counties Church to be missional, supernatural, sacrificial and one of friendship and fun.

OUR HISTORY

3 Counties Church began back in 1966 in a wooden hut, the local ambulance brigade headquarters, and was led by a man who had never had theological training.  He, along with a group of others, had a simple love for the Bible and Jesus.  Not content just to have their own lives transformed, their passion for sharing the good news of Jesus led to the church outgrowing their modest surroundings and purchasing the old Methodist Church by Haslemere Station.  Since then, our church services have been held in various community buildings around the town, including Haslemere Hall, before we settled in our current church building in Linchmere Road.  Celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2016, we are so grateful for the many stories of changed lives.

YOU ARE VERY WELCOME
