Children and Families

We run a number of children's activities both on Sundays and throughout the week:

Children's activities on Sunday's include:

...Caring, fun Church for 0-4's.

The team aims to provide a safe, secure and interesting environment for our youngest children, with the aim of ensuring a happy introduction to Church. Babies and toddlers have games appropriate to their age and older children have opportunities to listen to bible stories and do craft activities. Register you children at 9.05am for the first service and 11.05 for the second service.

... Exciting, messy and fun Church for years R-5.

These sessions involve some messy games, well known DVD clips and occasional craft activities. Learning is linked to relevant bible teaching and "how does this apply to us". There are also times for prayer and worship.

... An energetic and cool way to meet with God for years 6-9 (at the 11.15am service only). To find out more about Lava and our youth activities click here.

Lava spend the first 20 minutes in the 11.15am service and then walk over to the Hardman-Hoyle Hall in Hammer. The morning aims to encourage a close relationship with God and to teach a biblical way of living through fun activities, bible study and prayer. We occasionally have social activities and aim to go away for the weekend at least once a year.

During the week activities include:

Playtime - our parent and toddler group meet 10am - 11.45am each Thursday morning during term time at Hammer.

Afterschool - 6pm on the last Tuesday of each month -
