Global Issues

3 Counties Church is involved in supporting a number of overseas and UK based workers, both financially and in prayer. These workers are actively working to share God's love with people throughout the world - particularly in Africa.  They are involved in a variety of roles including teaching, translation and providing educational sponsorship for underprivileged children.

3CC is also involved with  OPEN DOORS - supporting the Suffering Church Worldwide, The Evangelical Alliance Relief Fund (TEAR FUND) and the Jaffna Medical Clinic in Sri Lanka.

Many 3 Counties people have been on both long and short term mission which we actively encourage. Over Easter 2009, we had a team of 31 (adults and children) that travelled to Uganda for 2 weeks to work with the Watoto project.

In the last year, a Global Issues team has been initiated with the specific aim of raising the profile of wider world themes in the church – encouraging exploration of issues leading to praying, giving and taking action. We want to understand God’s compassionate heart for a broken world and to embrace His call to love and action.

You can be involved by:
