is a newly-established charity whose aim is to rally the Church across UK to stand
  up
together against the terrible evils of human trafficking and slavery that are thriving
in our world today.  It is known that at least 27 million people worldwide are in some
kind of slavery or bondage -  men, women and children bought and sold, stripped of all their rights, cruelly treated and abused. For more information about this charity click

The vision of Hope For Justice is three-fold:

  • the ultimate freeing of slaves together with aftercare and rehabilitation
  • to inspire a generation
  • to call the Church to action

As a part of moving this vision forward, and as an early response to it, nearly 300 "ACT" Groups have been formed throughout the UK.   Here at 3 Counties Church we have begun such an "ACT" Group which meets every 4 to 6 weeks on a Thursday evening at The Link, St Bartholomew's Church Hall at 8.00 pm.  See our site calendar for specific dates.

During these times we keep ourselves informed, pray together, encourage one another in individual initiatives, and look at specific projects in which we can be involved together.  We also aim to raise further awareness throughout the local churches and beyond.

"(Rather) is not this the fast that I have chosen:  to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every (enslaving) yoke?"  Isaiah 58: 6 (Amplified Version)
